In a recent interview with a daily, Henry Cavill opened up about playing the Man of Steel. He said that he has always been a fan of Superman. The actor stated that with a character like Kal-El, one carries the mantle with them offset and it becomes part of their public representation. He mentioned that when he meets children, they do not necessarily see him as Henry Cavill, but they might recognise him as Superman, and there is a responsibility that comes with it. He also said, as Superman is such a wonderful character, it is actually a responsibility he is happy to take up. He hopes that he gets to play more of Superman in years to come.
Henry Cavill added that his life has changed dramatically after playing the last son of krypton. He mentioned that it has given him plenty of opportunities. He stated that Superman has been one of those characters which changed the entire course of his career. He noted that he is incredibly grateful for it and it has also taught him a lot about his own self. He explained that Superman is so good, so kind, and when he starts to compare himself to the character, as he is playing him, he starts to really look into himself. He said that he asks himself, “Am I good person? Can I be a good enough person to play Superman? And if he ever hears a whisper in there which says, “Hmm, hold on a second. Maybe not”, then he adjusts it and makes sure that he is a better person. Cavill thinks that it is something anyone can do in life.
2021's most anticipated movie is not a new movie but a Director's cut or you could say the original version/cut of the 2017's Justice League movie which has many people thinking about what's the difference between the theatrical version of the Justice League and the Snyder Cut, one of these people being Sir Patrick Stewart.
Justice League 2017 was a Superhero team up movie which had Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller) Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), it was directed by Zack Snyder, but due to some personal issues, Zack stepped down from JL project while it was was 90% complete and filmmaker Joss Whedon was hired to complete the remaining part which Joss instead of completing the 10%, he went on to change the entire movie with his 80 pages script, this made the movie suffer from terrible reviews and disappointing box office receipts when it opened in theaters.
In an interview for Variety‘s Actors on Actors issue, Patrick Stewart asked Cavill what — if anything — he could say about the re-edited film.
“Okay, I’ve got a question for you, Henry,” Stewart said. “What can you tell me about the Snyder Cut?”
“Oh the Snyder Cut, the famous-slash-infamous-slash-all-sorts-of-things Snyder Cut,” Cavill said. “I can’t really tell you anything aside from the fact that all I know is that HBO Max will be releasing it, I believe, and it’ll be Zack’s final vision for the movie, and I don’t know anything more than that.
“I’m just really happy that Zack got to realize his vision,” Cavill continued. “I think it’s important for a filmmaker and a storyteller to have their intended vision released and shown to the world, and I’m looking forward to seeing it myself. It’s been quite the ordeal.”
Stewart asked for Cavill to elaborate. “With ‘Justice League’ when it came, there was a mix of visions and the movie wasn’t well received,” Cavill said. “And then over the subsequent years, there was a big push to see the fabled Snyder Cut. And now that time has come, and I think it’s going to be very enjoyable to watch Zack finally release his version.”

Zack Snyder's Justice League will be released in 2021 only on HBO max.
