Junkie XL to compose the score for Godzilla v Kong.

Dutch composer Antonius Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL has signed on to score Adam Wingard’s upcoming monster mash-up Godzilla vs Kong. He will be succeeding Alexandre Desplat, Henry Jackman, and Bear McCreary, who were the composers for previous Monster-Verse films.

Junkie XL is Dutch composer who has worked soundtracks for many blockbuster films such as: Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2; Mad Max: Fury Road and popular R-rated superhero film Deadpool. He most recently worked on the score for James Cameron’s Alita: Battle Angel, Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate and Jeff Fowler’s Sonic the Hedgehog.

The epic action-adventure Godzilla vs Kong will pit two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another — the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong with humanity caught in the balance. Are you excited for Godzilla v Kong? Let us know in the comments.
